The Dryad Digital Repository is a curated resource that makes research data discoverable, freely reusable, and citable. Dryad provides a general-purpose home for a wide diversity of data types.

Re3data is a global registry of research data repositories that covers research data repositories from different academic disciplines. It includes repositories that enable permanent storage of and access to data sets to researchers, funding bodies, publishers, and scholarly institutions. re3data promotes a culture of sharing, increased access and better visibility of research data.

The UN Environment Programme offers more than 15,000 items, from real-time data tools and platforms to key reports, publications, fact sheets, interactives and more.

In November 2020 UNSD launched its 9th round of data collection for environment statistics through the UNSD/UNEP Questionnaire 2020 on Environment Statistics. This website contains the most recent country replies to the water and waste sections of the UNSD/UNEP Questionnaire

Country Snapshots provide a selection of national environment statistics, complemented by key economic and social indicators. Click or select the name of the country below to view the country snapshot.

UNSD Environmental Indicators disseminate global environment statistics on ten indicator themes compiled from a wide range of data sources. The themes and indicator tables were selected based on the current demands for international environmental statistics and the availability of internationally comparable data.
