These databases include scholarly and news articles about business, as well as more specific business specific formats like company, industry, or country reports.
General Databases
These databases have business articles and sources, but also have general sources as well. You'll have to be more discerning of the sources here than in the business specific databases above.
Gale Business Insights is a business-focused database that includes case studies, company and industry reports, SWOT analysis reports, market share reports, statistics, and journal and news articles. You can locate information organized by country, company, or industry.
Academic Search Premier is a general database that contains both popular and scholarly articles from a variety of disciplines and sources. Great place to start if you need to confirm the viability of a topic.
The tips in this video will apply to most other EBSCO databases, including SocINDEX, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus, and more. Subject specific databases may have some special features like unique limiters, but otherwise they will function the same way. The name of the database will be listed above the search bar:
Below are specific business news sources available from the library database subscriptions. The link will take you to a page where you can search for articles just in this source. You can often browse articles by date as well. Most are current through today's date but a few will be embargoed, meaning you can only read up until a month ago. Also note, articles published on their online site and their print source may have different titles and/or publication dates. If you're looking for a specific article try searching by the author and narrowing by date instead.
