Life Services maintains a calendar of events hosted by UD's Counseling & Life Services office.

Dubuque 365 maintains an up to date calendar of events taking place both on campus and within the surrounding community. 

Multicultural Family Center offers a variety of free programs and events aimed toward building unity out of diversity. Programming includes dance, music, yoga, support/advocacy, education, empowerment, and more.

Mines of Spain

• Offers hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, and the EB Lyons Center for visitor information.

Eagle Point Park 

• Overlooking the Mississippi River, the park includes pavilions, playgrounds, viewing towers, one half mile biking/hiking trail, a rock garden, a fish pond, tennis courts and horseshoe courts, and a spray pool (weather permitting).

Dubuque Arboretum

• Wide variety of public gardens and picnic areas.

Heritage Trail

• 26 mile crushed limestone trail spanning from Dubuque to Dyersville.

Swiss Valley Park (Peosta, IA)

• 62 wooded acres along Catfish Creek. Includes hiking trails, picnic sites, a playground, campsites, trout fishing opportunities, sports fields, and a visitor's center.

Maquoketa Caves State Park (Maquoketa, IA)

• A trail system connects beautiful caves, limestone formations, and bluffs. Great destination for hiking, camping, and picnicking.   

Pike's Peak State Park (McGregor, IA)

• Hiking trails, a bike trail (the Northeast State Park Bike Route runs through), campsites, and other recreational areas nearby.

• World's shortest, steepest scenic railway. Located in Dubuque's business district.

• Includes collections presenting insight into the history of the Mississippi River Valley and Dubuque community.
