Thanks for your patience as we figured out options for you to return books and materials to the library. We recognize that most of you aren't still on campus. You have a few different options including multiple locations in Iowa to return items thanks to our friends at more than 35 Iowa college libraries across the state.
- If you'll be back on campus in the fall, you can return your books then. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us you plan to return items in the fall so we can extend the due date on your items so you don't get so many over due notices.
- If you're in or near Dubuque, you can drop off the books in the book drop in the lobby of the library.
- If you're in Iowa, or nearby, check out this map of 35 Iowa college libraries participating in this book return program. Drop your UD library book at any of these 35 libraries and it will get back to us. https://ui-libraries.github.io/Library_Dropoffs/notui_index.html
- Or you can mail books back to us. When you take them to the post office, ask for the media mail or book rate. It should be cheaper. Our address is:
Charles C. Myers Library
2000 University Ave.
Dubuque, IA 52001
If none of these work for you, please email us at email@example.com
and let us know you're having trouble getting your items back to us, and we'll try and work with you to figure out a way.
